Philosopher's stone ring III

Alchemist's notebook

Sir Isaac Newton, the founder of modern physics, is best known for his theory of universal gravitation. But in his later years he dabbled in alchemy, an ancient tradition which was still at that time – some 300 years ago – believed to hold the key to an elixir of youth and an ability to turn common metals into gold. There is a story that many of his notes and manuscripts on alchemy were lost in a fire that started when his dog, named Diamond, knocked over a candle.

Philosopher's stone ring III

1,050.00

Unique capsule jewellery. Philosopher's stone is the substance, which alchemists believed would turn base metals to gold.
This ring features rustic naturally light grey diamond, weighing about 0.25 carat, and 18 karat yellow gold. The designer herself handpicked the rose cut stone in the world's diamond market Antwerp.
This ring is currently made to order and it will take 4-6 weeks before delivery. Due to the natural state of the diamond, each piece is unique and the colour of the stone will be slightly different from the photograph.
